I didn't know Chris, but I am part of the EDM group. Looking at her last post it makes me curious at how quickly a life can come to an end, and how this last piece "Be with me Still" is such a beautiful last post on her blog. I am sure she will be greatly missed. It looks to me like she brought much joy and creativity into her life.
While I'm a part of EDM, I didn't have the chance to meet Chris. I'm sure she's there in heaven creating her beautiful art for us all. My condolences to her family.
I just learned of the sad news and it's hard to believe that Chris, who was so full of life, is no longer with us.
I came to know Chris through her work with TimeBanks USA where she moderated the biweekly Coordinator phone conferences. She took the meetings to a new level and infused them with her innate enthusiasm.
Rest in peace, Chris. I am sorry I never got to meet you in person.
Chris...A beautiful spirit who seemed to know how to make everyday count.
Although I did not know you personally...through EDM I do know we had the love of art in common. May your family and loved ones find blessings, peace, and light in knowing that your life touched so many!
"Moster!" she'd say with the accent on the "Mo" and her little self popping up an inch or so as she said it...ouch.. I will miss Chrissy a LOT. She made a difference in my life. She always stayed connected.
